That's what his teacher says. Not kidding. There might be hope for America yet. "I have never seen a fourth-grader display the ability to get kids to see his way or do things his way before" say Mrs. Engler. "We just need to make sure it is always in a positive way." Fortunately it haas been o this point. I am very proud of Conner too. Now if we could just get him to keep quite until the other kids are done with assignments (and a little less drumming).

Honor Roll?

Actually, yes! It seems to be Austin's year to get it together. Seriously, he has become quite responsible. He sets his own alarm and gets up in the morning, does his homework (mostly) and manages to even turn it in. I am very proud of him and it is great to see him excelling in school. I think a lot of this change can be attributed to being more challenged at school and taking on the responsibilities of being Freshman class President. Keep up the hard work!

All Conner Needs Is A 32 Highboy Roadster

Conner had a blast Friday-night dancing with his classmates. His school had a 50's sock hop to coincide with the homecoming festivities his older brother was involved with. Check out the photos. They are a bit blury but how do you capture a class of spazing 8-10 year old kids?
We Have All Survived Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming week has come and gone. This was Austin's big show as Freshman-class President and I must say he did an excellent job. It was a big undertaking. Austin discovered first-hand how challenging it is to manage people and projects. We are all very proud of him.
FYI: The Comets were crushed by the Lisle Lions.
A special thanks to Austin's mom and her boyfriend for all their help and the use of their driveway.
Austin is Freshman Class President
Mr. Popularity was chosen by his classmates to President of the Freshman class, what a way to start high school! I am proud of him. His first project is overseeing the Homecoming float. Fun.
