2-0 So Far

The Panthers took on the Titans (?) and defeated them 0-18.

1st Game

Conner had his first football game today. Playing 100# 6th Grade division for Downers Grove Panthers, they managed to pound the Hanover Park Hurricanes 33-0.

Cubs Game & The Art Institute

After a little work on the AM, Conner and I headed to Wrigley for the Cubs vs. Cardinals game. The Cubs played less then poor baseball. Conner was quite happy with the outcome.

As the game finished up, the rain started in earnest. We decided to take Ford up on the free admission to The Art Institute on Fridays.

It’s Football Time (At Least for Park District Play)

Conner starts practice today. Helmet only. Practice with pads start tomorrow and from then-on full gear! Conner will be on the Panthers this season and it is traveling football this year—going all over the county.
It would have to be the hottest it has been all summer this week. Scorcher. Thanks for sending it our way Jason ;-).

Good luck Conner and have a great season. Play hard.

Austin is on Team Empirical Design

[image:2447:c:s=0:l=g]Austin’s bio is up for his BMX team—Empirical Design.

I am very happy that Austin enjoys the sport, it certainly keeps him in shape during the summer (and out of trouble :-)). Thanks also goes out to Bob for providing the coaching and a place to practice his tricks. It certainly showed at Louisville.

New Member of the Family - Oban

The boys and I picked up Oban today. He is a 3-year old cat who previously belonged to Mike and Katie. If I ever get my camera back from Austin for a moment, I will post some pictures.

Yep.

Austin is here at this awesome bike park that is free - thanks Lousiville.

Conner and I went here today. More on this excursion later.

Kurt Plays "Police" Set

The boys and I stopped by Old Town School of Folk Music to see Kurt play in a "Police" ensemble. They did a bang-up job of covering their album "Ghosts in the Machine."
