Among many of my pet peaves against our current President is his knack for writing exceptions to bills. Instead of a veto, he simply states that he can choose to ignor the parts he doesn't like. This is kind of hard to do since he is suppose to either sign it or veto it—no gray area. Today the ABA passed a resolution condeming this action used by King Bush. Not that it will accomplish anything (just like my ranting) but it is odd to find that if there was anything actually legal about this practice, we would not have heard a thing from the ABA.
