Sunday July 10, 2005: Chill'n in SoCal

[Shame on me. I am now getting back to writing about the rest of my road trip. Time flies when your busy with family, work and then bam! - kids are back in school. Great photo Renee, thanks.]

Besides resting today I have to get a few items. Mainly chain lube and an iGo adapter for my phone. Somehow I managed to break the adapter where it goes into the phone.

Somehow, and I am not sure how, Renee and Jason managed to round-up the kids and get them into the van. No small feat. I know how tough it is with just two.

First stop, Radio Shack to get the adapter. The iGo system works great and I was able to switch between my phone and iPod with one power adapter.

No visit to SoCal would be complete without a stop at In-n-Out Burgers.

With everyone all fed and happy, we stopped at Temecula Motorsports to pick up the chain lube. My bike will be very pleased since my chain has been screaming at me for the last few hundred miles.

While we were out running these errands, Jason was gracious enough to record the MotoGP race at Laguna Seca. This was the first time they had been back in the US in 10-years. It was awesome to watch and happy to watch Nicky Hayden dominate the field in his home country.

Renee treated us to an awesome steak salad for dinner and chilled for the rest of the evening.

I never knew my brother snored like a rumbling volcano before.
