- About This Site
As you can quickly tell, this site is not just about family, work or play - it's about all these things.
And they’re intertwined.
That’s pretty much how my life is and how the modern workplace is. Forget about finding the perfect work/life balance, it’s about managing that mix throughout the day. Work gets done during the day and frequently at night too. And when something personal needs to get done during the day too well, that’s alright too. That’s why you will find a mixed bag of articles and ramblings.
Cheers!
- Bio
An interactive creative with a love for art (written, painted & photographed), music (listening and learning), cars (F1), motorcycles (MotoGP) and all the great things that sustain life (family, love, food & vino). I can cook, fix a car and operate all manner of power tools. I work and play in the city and live in the burbs to be close to my kids. Being an "expatriate" of the Big Sky state, I grew up skiing, riding motocross bikes and yes, horses.
But wait, there's more:
- I had my first dirt bike (Honda QA50) when I was 4.
- A helmet has saved my life more than once.
- Never went to Prom.
- Never been fired from a job.
- I've been to Paris a few times (my favorite city).
- I still can't play the guitar despite lessons and practice.
- I was a cowboy once.
- I have a well-used National Parks Pass.
- Except for DC and Miami/Keys, I have never been to the east coast.
- My two greatest accomplishments amaze me every day.
