2009 Webby Awards Official Honoree - Banking

A big congratulations goes out to everyone at Element79 and Harris Bank for their Honoree mention for interactive work in the Banking category.

It was great to be part of the team on this fun project.

Picking up this project mid-stream, this 200+ page site was revamped and brought into a Drupal CMS environment. No small task for any site of this kind.

Caberet Night 2009 - When the Saints Come Swing' In

Conner had his Caberet Night yesterday and these are a couple of videos from it.

Austin Riding Out a Problem

Austin’s friend Karl Geweniger is a Film Student at Columbia in Chicago. Part of the "Transducer" project, this "episode" demonstrates his developing chops quite brilliantly.

Austin happens to ride very well too.

Finally Updated to Drupal 6

It’s kind of like the plumber who’s house has the leaky faucets, I never have time to work on my own projects.

Kimberly Conn Owes me $750.00

That's right, $750.00 for the damage from rear-ending my car on I-290. More surprising is she actually had insurance - I was relieved. I went through and filed reports and sent off paperwork to her Insurance company, United Equitable Insurance, Inc. UEI will not pay on it because they cannot contact Kimberly to confirm my side of the story. This was a "ta-da" moment. Crap. Moral of the story, no matter how trivial the accident, get a police report to back up your claim. I didn't know - never been in an accident before.

Conner's Birthday

Conner had a pretty good 14th birthday. To help him capture his progress on the drums for his teachers to hear, we got him this TuneStudio from Belkin - a very cool piece of hardware. Oh, and a new iPod new record onto.

Will post some tracks later.
